چکیده

In this work, the challenges associated with formation of single and bilayer coatings based on Ce0.8Sm0.2O1.9 (SDC) CuO modified BaCe0.5Zr0.3Y0.1Yb0.1O3?? (BCZYYbO-CuO) solid state electrolytes porous non-conducting NiO-SDC anode substrates by method electrophoretic deposition (EPD) are considered. Various approaches that had been selected after analysis literature data in order to carry out EPD, tested: direct a non-conductive substrate multiple options for creating conductivity under EPD conditions such as reduction creation surface conducting sublayer via synthesizing polypyrrole (PPy) film. New effective was proposed platinum layer front side substrate. It ascertained that, during substrate, continuous coating did not occur, which may be due insufficient porosity used. shown use reduced leads cracking and, some cases, destruction entire SDC/NiO-SDC structure. The dependence electrolyte film sinterability shrinkage studied. contrast data, pre-sintering temperature no pronounced effect densification SDC revealed complete sintering developed grain structure is possible at 1550 °C.

Electrochemical thin film deposition of polypyrrole on different substrates

Polypyrrole is one of the important conductive polymers that are widely used in energy storage systems, biosensors and electronics. The electrochemical synthesis of polypyrrole has advantages of simple process, mass production and low cost. In this study, polypyrrole thin films were deposited on different electrode substrates by cyclovoltammetric (CV), galvanostatic and potentiostatic depositio...

Transparent, conductive ZnO:Al thin film deposited on polymer substrates by RF magnetron sputtering

In this paper, we present the optical, electrical, structural and mechanical properties exhibited by aluminum-doped zinc oxide (ZnO:Al) thin films produced by RF magnetron sputtering on polymeric substrates (polyethylene terephthalate, PET; Mylar type D from Dupont ) with a standard thickness of 100 mm. The influence of the uniaxial tensile strain on the electrical resistance of these films was...

Erratum: Reduced Graphene Oxide Thin Film on Conductive Substrates by Bipolar Electrochemistry

Recent years have shown an increased interest in developing manufacturing processes for graphene and its derivatives that consider the environmental impact and large scale cost-effectiveness. However, today's most commonly used synthesis routes still suffer from their excessive use of harsh chemicals and/or the complexity and financial cost of the process. Furthermore, the subsequent transfer o...

Preparation of NiO-YSZ/YSZ bi-layers for solid oxide fuel cells by electrophoretic deposition

A simple and cost-effective method, starting with electrophoretic deposition (EPD) on a carbon sheet, has been developed for preparation of a iO-YSZ anode and thin, gas-tight YSZ electrolyte layer on it for use in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The innovative feature of this approach nables the deposition of anode materials as well as the YSZ electrolyte, which were subsequently co-fired in ai...
